Propane Costs Less Than Electric: FACT

On average propane costs less than electricity. While costs can fluctuate throughout the year (click here for more insights on this), many propane users enjoy moderate to significant savings depending upon what propane powers within their home. See below for a chart that highlights average costs.

Here is a great way to calculate your location price when you convert your current electricity bill with the equivalent in propane:

  1. Take the total monthlycost of an electric bill and divide by the total kilowatt hours used (also noted at the top of your bill).
  2. Multiply that price per kilowatt hour by 27

You now have the electricity price per equivalent unity of propane so you can compare with propane solutions providers.
