Propane Solutions Representative – Outside Sales

County Propane, a family-owned propane provider in Southeastern PA, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Propane Sales Representative. If you enjoy the hustle of sales and meeting lots of new people, this may be the job for you! The primary responsibility of this position is to generate new customers and provide additional services to existing customers to achieve and maintain the Company’s sales objectives.

Additionally, a high level of comfort with the following is required to be successful in this position:

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Cold calling – for both residential and commercial customers
• Experience with both B2B and B2C Sales
• Ability to manage and close a high volume of leads in a fast-paced environment
• Networking/relationship development

Responsibilities

Demand generation and lead development through inquiry communication, telemarketing, and ongoing relationship-building to fill/maintain a customer pipeline

Achieving and maintaining sales goals, prioritizing new residential and commercial sales, along with vendors and other providers

Ensuring follow-up with customers throughout the entire sales process; coordinating with other departments as necessary for completion of sale

Maintaining sales CRM and completion of reports for interdepartmental communications and inventory control and other required paperwork thoroughly, accurately, and on time

Ensuring compliance with national, state, and local regulatory

Experience
A minimum of 2 years of sales experience is required, with demonstrated expertise in conceptual selling and follow-through. Exceptional interpersonal skills as well as the ability and desire to consistently meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations are a must.
